It’s no secret, most yogis are often mistaken for being decades younger. This is because yoga supports healthy aging, promoting a youthful mind and body. But it’s more than just appearance, true vitality starts within. Yoga works holistically on breath, hormonal health and energy, ensuring you look as young as you feel.

The most common hormonal imbalances during pregnancy are uncontrolled weight gain, thyroid, diabetes and blood pressure issues. To avoid these it’s important to start practicing yoga as early as possible during the pregnancy.

The drop in oestrogen and progesterone levels post delivery causes postpartum hair loss. Hair can come out in clumps and you feel like you’re going bald!

On this Dhanteras, we pause to feel the sacred hum of the divine feminine, a quiet yet boundless force that shapes our world in subtle shades. Like threads of a hidden tapestry, these energies weave through dharma, kama and artha, binding us to purpose in ways that are seen only by the soul’s eye. In the fluid grace of yogic dance, we find traces of the Devis their spirit moving like soft light over still waters, embodying love, purity and a devotion as ancient as the stars. Their blessings unfold like whispered secrets filling us with wisdom too vast for words with abundance beyond the reach of touch.

I first learned about Yoga Nidra 💤 during my Yoga Instructor’s Certification (YIC) course at SVYASA. We participated in Yoga Nidra sessions every day in the evening, and the calmness and stability it brought to my nervous system was phenomenal. Eventually we were also taught how to do it for our students. A good Yoga Nidra session leaves you feeling energised and refreshed. Because I had experienced the effects myself, I made it a point to add it to my classes too. 🧘🏽‍♀️
